Lai Foong Lala Noodles began as a stall inside the 1956-era Lai Foong coffee shop on Jalan Tun H.S. Lee before opening a full 150-seat restaurant on Jalan Sultan in Chinatown in 2022. Its Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognised signature is a bowl of lala clam noodles in a ginger and Chinese-yellow-wine broth.
